Putnam Pride is a grassroots organization dedicated to building a welcoming community for queer people of all ages to gather and celebrate in Putnam County. We strive to take an intersectional approach that spotlights the most marginalized groups and to use our platform as a vehicle for creating real change. We believe that Black Lives Matter and trans rights are human rights.

2024 Statement:
We decry violence and oppression everywhere, including against the Jewish community and hatred toward and silencing of those who protest war and call for ceasefire. We call for a ceasefire by Israel and an end to war crimes against and devastation of people in the occupied Gaza Strip. We call for the release of all hostages by Hamas. We vehemently reject antisemitism in all forms; we vehemently reject anti-Muslim/ anti-Arab and racist rhetoric.
